I like the idea of some messages being sent via phone and some being sent via email.

For instance. Last minute cancellation of team photos. I would prefer to send that by SMS.
Wrap up of the last game. Send via email.

I know some parents who are not able to access email during the day and then say they are too tired at the end of the day. But if they get a text that might help.

Or just add people. We have a number of elderly members. No mail, no cell phone. But important members.. how can we add these?

Invite to join team via SMS.

As some players don't have an email address or don't check emails it would be good to invite them to join via SMS. This could ber done from the coaches or managers smart phone app only so it wouldn't require server side SMS capability
