Accommodate for other sports - e.g.: Life Saving where they complete in an age group (team) as athletes not players?
Change several of fields to accommodate other sport to utilise the app. Could add additional options / drop down so you can select more options / sports. For example #1 Game, Competition, Event #2 Players, Athlete

I can see there is great potential for social groups. I am actively involved with a English brass band and we are considering using this software for rehearsals and events. It would be great to be able to change the words "game" to "event" and "training" to "rehearsal". The ability in settings to switch off further functionality like duties would be another suggestion. I know if this was tweaked there would be many brass bands in this country that would love this software. If you add other functionality for sports could I suggest you make it so that it can be turned on or off so it does not get in teh way of social groups like music groups.
