Have an Active/Inactive player status.
Players come and go and under the current setup we will lose player data we may need to get in touch with them to recruit in the future.
I suggest an active/inactive status only available to coach/manager. Only active players will be included in the current season or event or communications and all others are there but inactive.

ACTIVE / INACTIVE can be used as well for a short period of time when a player is injured and will be not available for trainnig and games

I'm looking for this also.
We have a player who will miss a whole season but intends to return in the next season. Don't want to go through the process of asking them to join the club again. -

Need this, because if a player change the club or team i can't delete him without to change the statistics in Coachstuff. The outgoing player needs no messages or invitations to the games. It would be great if you could lock the player's account but the player as entry remains.
