would be nice to have ability for recurring feature and edit of recurring events such as deleting one event

Whilst this is true - it is also true that we'll remember lots of things about your games to make it easier to enter. So most season fixtures can be easily added to teamstuff - can take less than 60 seconds per game ; particularly when you have lots of repeated information - e.g. locations, times and days of week.
