This is one of the worst apps for sport going round. It’s clunky and not user friendly

This is not the same thing as having an ongoing chat built into the app.
Have a look at what teamsnap did

I would implore Teamstuff to reconsider team messaging being a pro only option. My parents are now all starting to suggest we use Whatsapp messaging for team messaging which seems crazy if you are going to allow this to happen. The whole point about Teamstuff is to keep everything on 1 platform. I cannot ask every parent to sign up for pro just so we can do that.
Please reconsider your proposition strategy here @Teamstuff. It really does not make sense. -

I just turned on Whole Team Messaging and everyone can send messages that everyone else can see. I don't have TeamStuff Pro and it also says this is a PRO feature but it seems to be available for free. I am hoping this is not just a free trial period?!

I'm using this app as a pilot with only one team, to see if we can roll it out to the whole club. So far, it looks like the lack of ability to have a two-way conversation is a deal breaker. We will try to work around, but reverting to outside-app communications kind of defeats the purpose....

Echoing others. I downloaded and it looks great. Would be happy to pay the annual fee, but there is no chat function. I'm using it for pickup game and need to be able for everyone to know if subs are being brought if numbers are low. And to make everyone pay PRO rate is silly. I'd resort to single payer competitor, notwithstanding this looks more slick. (Android Samsung S8)

Why should you have to pay $7.99 just for a messaging feature and you may only use the app for one season.

Don't like that I can not message the coach, manager or other team members

I believe in allowing open two way communication and giving all team members/parents the right of reply/response. As the manager asking all team members to pay for this feature is unreasonable. I struggle getting most of the parents to understand the benefit of using this app and charging for this feature is one way of scaring them away from it's use. If some can't drive their child to a game allowing them to post a message asking if someone could do a pick-up would be great and better that SMS or email. May as well use something like WhatsApp, create a group and manage the team that way.

I have had numerous parents ask to be able to message. This app is great but with how quickly games, fields, meeting locations can change if the first person there isn't the coach or manager they can not get the word out.

Why only pro members? I would upgrade to Pro if I had to but wouldn't it mean my whole club would have to pay individually too? They just wouldn't do that and I wouldn't ask them to.

Should be an options to allow players/parents to reply to a question a coach asks.. not necessarily a full chat option r4egardless of PRO status

This would be helpful. How about reply to a message?

I am rolling Teamstuff out to out club of 1300+ and this in one of top requests. Managers send out a message or question and there is no way for the players to respond

Yes! Having the ability and flexibility to send messages through TeamStuff either to the entire team or just selected players is a valuable feature. We will be using the roster off feature as we have a rotating roster. If I need to alert just one of two teams about something, being able to select which players are applicable is important as it changes each week.

This would be great for players to be able to arrange rides, communicate with the coaches, etc.

Yes, please! And parents or other coaches too!

Please make absolutely sure this can be disabled. One of the key selling points to school and club has been that no peer to peer comms possible

We really need this as it would be great for arranging stuff, lifts, etc
