Yes! If you have set up a team, and want to invite your child into the team, simply invite 'me' (or your email address, but we think just 'me' is pretty easy ;-) ). You will then be asked whether you play on the team or your child plays on the team. Just pick 'My child plays on the team', enter their name and Save.
