Team admins can already change the player name at there ‘team’ level. On a side note, Players & Parents can belong to different team/clubs so we cannot push you team admins change against the players profile.
Great idea. You should see the Top Ideas post "Coach allowed to set up Players info on team" and add your votes there. In my opinion this needs to be one of the next items to be considered.

As a team manager of a childs team I found that many parents didn't read my notes on how to set up their own & their chids profile. I ended up taking a laptop to training so I could get everyone to log in & then I could set the profiles up for them. This feature would save so much time for team managers. I'd like to be able to edit the medical information as well. In this area I keep the players address & ambulance cover status as well as medical conditions, but trying to get the parents to enter this information was quite time consuming. Our club still has paper consent forms (I'm the only team manager using this App - trying to convert the other teams though) so if I could enter this information from the form it would save me time and be entered correctly.
This is a great idea. Our football league only gives game details a few days before the game for the first 3 or 4 matches so I'm having to email people who will be rostered on as I can't enter the season duty roster until the season fixture comes out. Why the league takes so long I don't know but that's how it always seems to be, so this feature would be fantastic.
Love the idea of being able to enter team events other than just games & training times.
