If the text message is sent from the mobile phone app - can you make use of the text message on the app - therefore at the cost of the phone owners mobile phone plan.

Hi, I like this - but I need it for netball positions... and for the younger age groups we put them on different positions per quarter.

We’re actively investigating texting options right now.
So – we have implemented quietly for the US and also Australia. Roll out to Germany and UK in the next week or so.
Have a look under your account settings – at the minute it’s a choice for the user, and yes it’s a paid choice ( since the text messages cost us real money to send out ).

Hi, this is a great idea, is there a way you can integrate with the users own messaging system, so that it is coming from them, and using their SMS provider? Here in Aust a lot of people have plans that include SMS, maybe that would be a way to go? Just a thought

I agree, our games are all set by the association. Game, Ground/Venue, court/field, time, and sometimes whether your team is responsible for particular duties (eg field/court setup / pack up, canteen duty etc). - although not as important - I guess we can manually add these. We usually receive as excel, or can download from association site - cricket, soccer and netball. I imagine this is true of most competitions.

This can be set up in coachstuff - by creating a new stat against the team. Then each match you can assign the appropriate people the points. (Just did a similiar thing for my team)
