    This would be great to have.

    The only problem I have is not everyone wants to register.

    To add players without them registering and be able to contact them though the smartphone app would be perfect for me.

    We’re actively investigating texting options right now.

    So – we have implemented quietly for the US and also Australia. Roll out to Germany and UK in the next week or so.

    Have a look under your account settings – at the minute it’s a choice for the user, and yes it’s a paid choice ( since the text messages cost us real money to send out ).

    I don't need to do SMS auto reminder, just to be able to contact a select group with my own SMS from the app.
    Why charge us when we/you could do it for free on the app?

    I have no need to send a text message (SMS) from my computer, seems pointless to me.

    I agree with integrating with the user's own messaging system through the app. Also do need group text messaging for reminding or inviting players about training and games.
    Theres still a lot of people who don't have smartphones, so i don't expect emails or the app messaging will work for them. Integrated text messaging is essential.
