Bulk load of Team Schedule via CSV
Bulk load of team schedule via CSV file
We’ve now opened Game Imports in Teamstuff.com – head to your team screen to import games from a spreadsheet file.

You did it wrong. You only allow game schedules. As coaches we schedule way more than games. Training sessions, pasta dinners, etc should all be up loadable.

I try to figure out how to import schedule via .csv on clubs.teamstuff.com.
But I really can't find out how...instructions are very welcome -

I am creating import files now and was wondering, how do you specify that a game is a bye?

Is this going to be added for individual teams? I got excited because i thought I'd be able to use this to manage my kids' team schedules. I might have to stick to just using my google calendar without this functionality.

I so appreciate this with all my heart :-)

Definitely the biggest drawback. Adding games one-by-one manually is extremely time consuming.

I just started using Teamstuff and this is the main issue that could drive me away. The fact that you can't bulk import a schedule is a serious limitation. In fact, I can't imagine how any league could consider using this site without that ability. I am only managing two teams and I chose to use the practice option for games as that allowed me to replicate them weekly. Needless to say I lost some nice features (like rostering) by going that route. Next season I will try a different site if this capability isn't added.

I would love this feature

What I would like to be able to do is to embed the TeamStuff calendar in our club website homepage, or the list of upcoming games for the club and each team. Any thoughts on that would be greatly appreciated.

This suggestion is about the ability to IMPORT information INTO TeamStuff, such as team contact lists (name, email, mobile number, etc) or season fixtures (date, opponent, location, etc) in CSV or PDF format, correct?
This would be very handy for our club because the work load would be very heavy if we have to manually enter every game separately for each team of our club.

I will not start using this service until this is available...

I have my team stuff calendar updating in Cozi. You have to add the ics link to your cozi calendar (i.e. add webcal://teamstuff.com/calendars/your_teams_calendar_id.ics)

Just to clarify here - teamstuff has wonderful support for getting your teamstuff schedule into your personal calendar. And we have article listing how to do that here ( look at your account settings, calendars as a first point ).
What we don't have is the ability to create games inside teamstuff sourced from a calendar of events that you already have. ( Hope that clarifies this request, not confuse it! )

Agree, very limiting not to have iCal support. Would love to see my team stuff calendar entries updated in Cozi App.

Yes i´ve been looking 4 that, too. That would be a nice feature

A lot of scheduling apps and programs, even Google allow exporting of schedules i.e. as .ics-files.
It would be a nice feature, to import these schedules. Due to the given structure of .ics-files an import filter should be a lot easier to been written than a filter for a .csv-file (see rfc 5545).
