Texting messages and reminders
texting
1 voteI’m going to close this one down as we do now have text capability in States, with Canada, Germany, Australia and UK to follow very soon. If none of this works for you – please add the idea back as ‘texting for France’ or wherever you need it.

Calendar URL or Wordpress plugin
I like to display the teamstuff calendar on my own page. Rather than creating a google calendar ... Why not offer a URL for that ? Even better would be a wordpress plugin :-) Ideally I like to specify which calendar and what dates. And a second URL to display details for a match. This would also good from your marketing point of view.

Let Teamstuff only give chores automatically to people who are attending a game and make it possible to put in more names for 1 chore.
3 votesAlready done. Teamstuff will only assign duties on future games to those coming, or undecided. It will not give duties to those that are not coming.

Automatic game attendance reminder
Send out automatic attendance reminders. Let the manager / coach create a team setting (e.g. 3 days before a game) and Teamstuff does the rest.
4 votesHi all. Done and done.
Teamstuff send out automatic game reminders based on the schedule set by the users.
The coach / manager can then ‘add more pressure’ to the players by reminding them with single click – those that haven’t responded get lots of messages. Works beautifully – I know because I use it all the time!

merging calendars
It would be a great to have the events merged into the calendar used on my phone. When making plans with friends or doctor appointments, I have to always view both calendars. It would be great function if the two can communicate between each other.
4 votesTotes done. See calendar subscription options under Account Settings. We have great support for publishing the teamstuff events into pretty much any calendar.

(done) Fix issues with icloud, mac.com, and me.com email addresses
fix the intermittent problem with the players who have email accounts with
icloud
mac
me.com
Teamstuff here: This is a problem with the way Apple handles emails. We are sending the emails out fine, and apple servers are accepting the emails. Then something odd happens;
1. They are marking the emails from teamstuff as spam/junk
2. And then silently deleting it.
So users get no knowledge or choice - or any way to retrieve the emails. We have raised a ticket with Apple Case # 714005684 in December 2014. Still waiting to get to bottom of it.
April 2015 update:…
7 votesApple let us know they have resolved it. Our testing on our iCloud account was successful so we believe this problem is all complete. Thanks for everyone’s patience – think we’re done now.

Tam Events Tab
Hi love this app. I would like to make a suggestion. We have team events like presentation evenings, fund raising activities, dinners, coaching days with younger teams etc. I would love a"Team Events" tab so I can add these types of events into our schedule. At the moment I'm using either the game or training tab but it can be a little confusing.
Thanks for your time!

Attendance record
Attendance record for the coach to see. Teamer has this and it is useful.
3 votesTeamer has this? Well crikey we’d better build it too! ;-)
And we have. Please take a look at coachstuff.com. It’s our web application that we also build – just for coaches. Login to it using your teamstuff ids – and you’ll find your team is already there.
Has mountains of stats – including attendance records – and notes for coaches on games, players even oppositions. -

Easily adding existing players to a new team
Allow cloning a team (at least player info). I have a lot of the same players come back and play different sports / teams with me and it would be great to be able to easily copy them over to a new team.
Or, if cloning a team is not the right approach, at least allow quickly selecting from a list of players that are already a part of one of the teams I already have. Sortof like choosing from an address book.
2 votesAlready done ; we call it ‘sharing’ a player from one team to another. The teams must both be managed by the same team manager ( or part of same club ) – but check out the options on the web under your player listing. One of those options is share/xfer – in your case – just share them to the new team and you’re done.
